this is rosie. she is the 65th beagle life that big on beagles (the beagle rescue i volunteer with) has saved. rosie has had a pretty awful life up until now. she has lived her entire life (of approx. 7-9 years) attached to a chain. you can see the scars of her upbringing on her sweet little face. she was scheduled to be euthanized last friday but luckily the shelter called us. they didn’t have the cash to conduct the medical tests she required to figure out if she was suffering from a life threatening illness. she came to the shelter weighing half of what she should have, and they suspected something serious.
rosie has now been fully examined by our amazing vets and she is doing amazing!!! she’s been spayed now, and she is with her loving foster mummy recovering. and guess what? her tail hasn’t stopped wagging since we rescued her.
i <3 rosie!!!!
